Delny Glamping is located in the grounds of the fab Delny House in the northern Scottish Highlands on the North coast 500 route surrounded by rolling mountains and highland wild life. The West Coast town of Ullapool is only an hours drive away, while to the north, Wick, Thurso and John O’ Groats are around 2 and a half hours drive.

The LUXURY accommodation consists of ‘Auld Reekie’ a one bedroom lodge plus 6 individually designed Bothies and Barrels that sleep up to 6 people. The Bothies are located within a private walled garden surrounded by fields and wildlife at a elevated position overlooking the Cromarty Firth.

 AULD REEKIE LODGEThe Auld Reekie is a former salmon smoke house within the grounds of the historic 16th century Delny House.The Auld Reekie is now a couple only retreat garnished internally with Gold themed decor, modern stag heads and crystal gold leaf light fittings overhead. This stylish suite encompasses a real log burner to keep those flames of love roaring long into the night. Guests can enjoy a double bed with a view and an en-suite shower room, adorned with gold fittings and fixtures. The private kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, kettle, microwave and your essential kitchen utensils.

Outside you can enjoy a bespoke made whisky barrel seat for 2, table and chairs for 2, private fire pit/bbq and the all important luxury hot tub which faces onto a far reaching barley field.

Delny Glamping is perfectly placed for the whisky lovers. Dalmore and Whyte & MacKay distilleries are both 5 mins away by car and Glenmorangie is just 10mins away by car.

All Bothies and Barrels include en-suites, heating, tea/coffee making facilities, towels and bed linen, flat screen TVs, plates, mugs and cutlery.

It’s not just the resident farm animals that get a feed either: humans can indulge themselves thoroughly by ordering a breakfast hamper to be delivered to their door the next morning (very much recommended), and evening meals can be sorted by sparking up the barbecue hut in the walled garden. Supermarkets in Invergordon and Alness (10 minutes) should take care of ingredients.

We offer a very popular continental breakfast delivered to your door via a Glamper Hamper. This is optional and charged at £5 per person.

We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs for £5 a night in the Bothies but unfortunately dogs would not be suitable in the barrels
