The Poachers Hut is a cosy private lush boutique-hotel style Shepherds Hut.  It is located in Lake of Menteith in the stunning Trossachs. 

It sits in the corner of its own field and has oak floors, comfy double bed, chairs, table, fridge, microwave, nespresso coffee, kettle, toaster, electric saute pan, airfryer, cosy woodburner and en-suite shower and flushing toilet, Smart TV, WIFI, Alexa.  Outside on the private south facing patio – table, chairs, Kadai fire pit/BBQ and your own Hotsprings electric hot tub and Igneus wood fired pizza oven.

Poachers Hut is a 6.5m hand-built Shepherds Hut which sits in the corner of the field at Keepers Cottage on the picturesque Cardross Estate with a comfortable double bed with quality mattress, bedding and soft furnishings.  It has mains water and electricity, small en-suite with shower and flushing toilet, planet friendly shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and towels.  Kitchen has eco cleaning products, tea-towels, glasses, cutlery and crockery.  A cute wood burner with wood and kindling starter bundles supplied.  Generous welcome hamper including some home-made produce.  Your very own ‘always ready’ electric Hot Tub with massage jets is the perfect place to relax and is quite magical for star and cloud gazing.  Towels and sanitised flip flops for the Hot Tub are supplied.  Starter bundles of wood and kindling for the fire pit/BBQ is provided along with toasting forks and popcorn pan. 

There is a selection of quality coffee, tea, incl decaf, hot chocolate, condiments, marshmallows, popcorn. There are indoor and outdoor games and an Alexa. We use green planet friendly cleaning/bathing products and there is recycling.
We have friendly pygmy goats and Philip the pheasant – all of which you can feed and pat!
