Escape the stress of city living and take time to unwind in a period wooden chalet on a private estate in the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands. The house was built to a Norwegian design in the 1890’s and retains all its period features whilst having modern comforts. The River Findhorn, arguably one of Scotland’s most beautiful salmon rivers, runs through the estate which is only a 30 minute drive from Inverness airport. There are miles of river and woodland walks to enjoy and lots of wildlife to spot. There is the opportunity for trout fishing from a rowing boat on a hill loch, and the use of the squash court, trampoline and ping-pong table. The Wooden House has 4 bedrooms accommodating up to 8 people.
